fabric envelop

暫く記事を書いていませんでしたがものづくりはしていたのです。

 

国保とかの封筒が入るちょうどいいファイル的なものが無かったので、布で封筒を入れるための封筒型の物を作りました笑

表地は麻、裏は薄手のデニムだったかな。サイズ感ばっちりで気に入っております。

あの封筒によくあるボタンでひもぐるぐるさせて止めるやつ好きです。

 

 

 

Have been away from blogging which doesn't mean I've been away from creating something.



One of the good things to make something on my own is to make what exactly I want.

This is the perfect envelop to put a peyment slip.
I love how a brown paper envelop close with string and buttons, so I did the similar closing finish.

Crochet iPod sleeve

アイポッドケースがなかなかいいのがないので、余ったレース糸で編みまんた。

初めて編み図を探したり見たりせずに、自分でやってみました。適当だけどね！なんとかなるもんだね！

網目の間からコードを出るようにしたから、操作する時に引き出してもケースを滑り落とす心配ないのです。

 

 

I've been looking for an iPod sleeve all around these days, but I couldn't come across my favourite one.
So then it's time to make my own.
I picked up some remnants of crochet laces, then did a small project for my iPod.
The clever thing is the earphone code is poked through the gap between the chanes, so the iPod itself doesn't slip down while I'm flicking.

Reversible bag

このリバーシブルバッグを作らずにいられなかったので、IKEAで可愛い生地を買って作りました。

 

カーテン生地は丁度いい厚みがあって、バッグ作りに向いてるものが多いから良いです。

何となくで型紙作ったので持ち手が中途半端な長さになってしまった…！

 

 

I just couldn't resist making this wonderful reversible bag!

I know curtain fabrics are always perfect for making bags. So I ran to Ikea to get pretty patterned fabric.

The shoulder strap is slightly shorter as I didn't draft the pattern accurately, but still it's pretty enough:)

Last minute knitting

もう春になりつつあるので、毛糸が安くなっていました！
オリムパスのメイクメイクパフェ。３つで１つの値段で売っていたので買ってみた。
糸の細さも、分量も靴下編むのにちょうどいい。
 

手編みの靴下は履くとすぐ破けそうで抵抗があったのですが
履いてみたらあまりの暖かさに驚きました。
ポカポカしすぎ！手編み靴下すげえ！！
底の部分がやっぱりフェルト状になってきてしまうのですが、この暖かさはくせになるわ。
小さいからすぐ編めるし、いいかもこれ。

It's almost spring, so yarns are now in the sale. So I got perfect yarns to knit socks for very reasonable price. It was buy-one-get-two-free. Totally bargain!
I've been very interesting in knitting a sock, but I thought hand-knit socks are very fragile so I hadn't push myself into knitting them.
But I got yarns, had to make one, and I did.
Once I've put my foot into me-knitted sock, I found it's super comfortable and incredibly warm!
I don't care if they are fragile or not, I just love them:)))
As it's rather small project, I could finish knitting them faster than I thought. It's also nice to knit in any free time. So I kind of understand why people in Euro always bring work-in-progress sock with them. I should do the same thing when winter comes back next year. It's almost spring as I said!

Crochet rose ring

レース編みでバラを編んでみたら、どうにかしてアクセサリーに活用したくなったので短いバンドを編んで指輪にしてみました。

普段使いにぴったりです。大きさもいいかんじ。

I've got a rose, bloomin from my finger:P

I've made this crochet rose using a pattern from a book I bought.
I just wanted to use this rose for my daily accessory somehow, so I attached a band to make it a ring! I just love it! :)

And these are my other rosy rings. One is red plastic rose ring which my mom gave to me, and another one is made with metalic wire called Free Metallico.

で、他のバラモチーフリングと一緒にしてみました。↑

赤いのは母にもらった、ビンテージかなんかのプラスチックのバラの指輪。

んで白い奴はフリーメタリコなる物を初めて使って作った指輪です。

このフリーメタリコ、網状のワイヤみたいなもので、かぎ針で編んでいくのですが、なかなか面白いテクスチャが出て色々試したくなる素材です。

This was my first try to use Metallico, and I found the material is really fun to use!

It has very interesting texture and so much possibilities to create something.

I basically crochet the wire along with chunky beads, and then band the wire chane onto a ring base with invisible wire.

The photo can't tell how beautiful it is! It catches the light A LOT and glitter brilliantly:)

作りました、とも言えない切って貼っただけのピアス。
革のはぎれを小さく切って、裏表にして土台に貼りつけておしまい。
シンプルで使いやすいわー
記事も短くなっちまうわー

This is a super quick project which I took less than 5 mins to finish.
What I did here is basically trim a leather rem into tiny pieces, then glue them onto earring bases, and then, done.
This pair is simple enough to go on with a various range of outfits! And is simple enough to make this article very short.

Tie-yourself bowtie

ある日先輩に結ぶタイプの蝶タイを作れとぶんなげられたので既製品の蝶タイ見ながらパターンひきました。その後ネットで沢山良さそうなの見つけちゃったけど、まあそれはそれで。
自宅にあった適当な生地で試作を作ったのですがなかなか可愛くできました！でもこれじゃとってもネックが短かった！
捨てるのもナンなのでこのネックサイズに合う人にプレゼントしてもいいなあ。

My boss's forced me to make a tie yourself bow tie for a production she's working for. ( yep, FORCED) So I drafted a pattern by using
some ready-made bow ties from our cover. But after I've done it, I found great range of bow tie patterns on internet.. Making a new pattern is yet nice exercise!
Then, up there is the mock with my random fabric. It seems nice and pretty, but I've made the neck belt way too short than I intended to make. So I'm thinking to give this tie to someone who has an identical neck measurement, as it's too pretty to be thrown away!
